We reinforce and secure steel bars correctly and safely to ensure that the structure is strong. We know to place the following for a rigid structure correctly:

– Semi precast slab
– Un-situ slab
– Lintel beam

To ensure that the structure doesn’t rust, we accurately calculate the distance of the reinforcement steel and the nearest wall. If the range is incorrect, the steel starts rusting.
Steel rusting poses a huge danger to the strength, stability, and safety of a structure. When steel starts rusting, its diameter begins to decrease, meaning that the support that the metal should be providing to a building also decreases.

Once the steels diameter starts to decrease, it also begins to expand. The expansion is only up to a certain degree, and after that, it bursts which might lead to total collapse of an entire building.

We, therefore, use spacers to ensure that there’s always sufficient space between the walls and the steel.

We tie the steel with wires at the junctions to ensure that the steel stays in place at all times such as;

– When the construction workers are walking on the structure
– When workers are placing concrete of the structure.Bear in mind that concrete is very heavy.
– When compaction is happening.
